Performing Arts

At AVANT ACOUSTICS, we understand that sound is as important to a performing arts venue as lighting is to an art gallery. The acoustics and sound reinforcement systems in a performing arts center are critical to the audience experience.  With our acoustical consulting and AV system design, performing arts venues are better able to showcase the true beauty of performances for each audience member.

One of the most important components in performing arts space design is the acoustics.  Room acoustics ensure the audience experiences the sound as intended.  Mechanical noise control ensures HVAC and electrical systems don’t interfere with the performance.  Architectural acoustics protect outside noises from interrupting the show.  It all matters, which is why you should trust the experts at AVANT ACOUSTICS to protect the acoustical considerations of your design.

Performances in all but the smallest of performing arts spaces need sound reinforcement to ensure every seat in the house is a good one.  AVANT ACOUSTICS understands the art of sound as well as the science, and is able to design sound systems that truly enhance performances.

Image Magnification (iMag) or audio-visual content display can be important supplements to many performing arts spaces.  Not only is AVANT experienced at designing innovative audio-visual systems. We also make sure the design is fully realized by creating more complete specifications and drawings. This leaves less up to the contractor, mitigating the risk involved in the installation of great AV system design.

Once the design is complete, there is still a lot left to do!  The drawings and specifications laid out on paper must become real-life wires and equipment in ceilings, walls, floors, and equipment rooms.  AVANT ACOUSTICS is available to answer contractor questions and oversee the installation to ensure conformance to the specifications.

Design and installation are the first two critical steps to the perfect finished space.  The last, which is equally as important, is AVANT ACOUSTICS’ thorough testing and equalization of the system. We ensure natural, uniform sound throughout the performing arts hall.

Sometimes finishes and furnishes change over time.  Sometimes AV systems and components start to fail or become uncalibrated.  No owner should have to put up with this.  Let AVANT ACOUSTICS diagnose the deficiencies, and help create the plan for improvement.  We typically can even improve the situation while we’re onsite!
